Are you considering whitening your teeth? One way is to use teeth whitening trays. There’s lot of options out there. You can surely find some whitening trays at your local store.  I will say that even they are readily available and can be used at home, they are not my choice of teeth whitening as they are messing, and kid of gross to use. However, they are better than spending a fortune at the dentist!

The trays do one thing. They hold your whitening product on your teeth for a set period of time. You add the whitening product to the trays and place them in your mouth. Then, wait for the set amount of time as detailed on the whitening product information. By the end of the set time, it gets kind of gross. Saliva builds up in your mouth as it’s hard to swallow with whitening trays in your mouth. A lot of people gag when they remove the trays.

When using these trays, it’s critical that the trays are held firmly against your teeth. Carefully push on the trays to ensure they are snug and then gently bite down. It’s very important the the teeth whitener that’s in the trays gets evenly distributed across your teeth or the results will not be very good.

By the way, when using these trays, I suggest you be by yourself. These things are very ugly. Also, as mentioned, you may start to gag and will need to hit a sink ASAP. Some products require you to wear them for extended periods of time. I can’t image doing this as 15 minutes is too long for me. I know some will try to wear them while they sleep but I truly can’t see how you could do this. It would be very uncomfortable. It would take some time getting use to this.
